MV Creations has clarified the effects of the publisher's shift from Image to CrossGen's CGE imprint (see 'MV Moves To CrossGen'):  the move has not and will not affect the company's publishing schedule and its popular He-Man and the Masters of the Universe line.  This summer MV Creations will publish He-Man comics through both Image and CrossGen, but by the fall all the MOTU books should be coming out under the CrossGen banner.  Retailers interested in ordering the He-Man comics should be sure and check both the Image and CrossGen sections of Previews until the July issue (September shipping), after which all MOTU books should be in the CrossGen section.

Here's a brief rundown of this summer's MOTU books.  In June both Masters of the Universe 2 #4 and Icons of Evil: Beastman #1 will be published by Image.  Image will also ship Masters of the Universe Volume 2 #5 in July, but Masters of the Universe Volume 1: The Shard of Darkness trade paperback (see 'CrossGen To Publish MOTU Trade Paperback') and Icons of Evil: Mer-Man #1 will come from CrossGen.  In August Image will publish the last of its He-Man titles, Masters of the Universe Volume 2 #6, while CrossGen will issue Icons of Evil: Trapjaw #1.  In September CrossGen will publish the only MOTU title, Icons of Evil #4: Tri-Klops #1.
