Here we round up several digital comics announcements from the last 36 hours.

Dark Horse has announced that it has begun offering its graphic novels through the Apple iBookstore.  The first range of 200 titles includes Mass Effect, Hellboy, Star Wars, Buffy, Serenity, and Sin City.

Meanwhile comiXology is making good on its promise to bring some of the French language titles it’s offering (see "ComiXology Launches 400 French Titles") to English-speakers by launching translations of titles from European publisher Virtual Graphics, beginning this week.  The first title is Air Vol. 1:  The Uprising, to be followed by Endless Sky and other titles.  Beginning in September English releases from the publisher will be day and date with French.

In a further expansion of its European operations, comiXology has made its Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD Apps available in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK.  DC Comics are now available in the comiXology Kindle Fire apps.

ComiXology is a minor sponsor of the Eisner Awards Ceremony and the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund Welcome Party, both long-running San Diego Comic-Con events.
