Roddenberry Entertainment in conjunction with Arcana Studio will publish Worth on September 4, 2013. Written by Aubrey Sitterson, former editor for Marvel and Image Comics, and illustrated by Chris Moreno, Worth will be available as both a 128-page hardcover graphic novel ($24.95) and digital download.
Worth is a re-imagination of the superhero genre. Centering on Grant Worth, a hero who can manipulate machinery in 1960s Detroit, the story examines his rise to fame and notoriety, as well as the challenges as he is forced to adapt to the digital revolution that makes his powers obsolete by the turn of the century.
Archaia Studios Press, recently acquired by BOOM! Studios (see "BOOM!, Archaia Merge"), published Roddenberry property Days Missing, beginning in 2009 (see "'Days Missing,' a SF Miniseries"). Is Roddenberry working its way through the As?
