Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment has announced that Daredevil will street July 29th in DVD and VHS.  The DVD edition will consist of a two-disc set, with production commentary by Mark Steven Johnson and Gary Foster, two documentary (making-of and art-of), a Kingpin featurette, three music videos, Jennifer Garner's screen test, trailers, and more.  MSRP for the DVD is $29.98. 

 

TCFHE is mounting a $40 million marketing campaign to support the release, including network, cable, and spot TV, print, and on-line advertising; radio promotions; and movie theater and shopping mall grassroots efforts.  Although the DVD and video will undoubtedly be aggressively discounted by mass merchants, that level of marketing support should give another boost to the entire range of Daredevil merchandise.
