Bandai Entertainment has announced a July 1 street date for the Regular and Limited Editions of s-CRY-ed Vol. 1, a new Platinum Edition release (see 'Bandai Launching Platinum Line').  s-Cry-ed, from Sunrise Studios and directed by Goro Taniguchi, is set in a post-apocalyptic future where genetically enhanced humans known as Alters roam the wasteland.  The Limited Edition of 15,000 includes a Collector's Box (to hold the entire series), a pendant, and a poster at a $49.98 MSRP.  The Regular Edition will be at a $29.98 MSRP.  s-CRY-ed is also a manga series from Tokyopop and a toy series from Bandai toys (see 'Bandai Toys Introduces 4 New Anime Properties').
