Disney HD has released a very brief teaser for the upcoming Star Wars Rebels animated TV series that will replace the now departed Star Wars: The Clone Wars.  The new series will be set during the period between Revenge of the Sith and Return of the Jedi, and will focus on the rise of the Empire and the growing rebellion against the Empire’s heavy-handed tyranny.  The clip itself, which appears to be a "title" shot, mirrors a famous shot from the original Star Wars film, and certainly hints that the new animated series will return to the franchise’s basic rebels vs. the Empire theme, and perhaps capture some of that original trilogy magic.
 
The new Star Wars Rebels animated series is slated to debut on Disney XD in the fall of 2014, and the pace of promotion has definitely stepped up (see "Production Has Begun on 'Star Wars Rebels'" and “First Look at 'Star Wars Rebels'").
