Sanrio and Twentieth Century Fox have announced that a line of products bringing together Hello Kitty and The Simpsons will be launched for back-to-school 2014.  The high concept line will fuse "Hello Kitty’s iconic design sensibility with each Simpsons character," according to 20th Century Fox Consumer Products EVP Roz Nowicki.

Both brands are celebrating anniversaries in 2014:  Hello Kitty will be 40 years old, and The Simpsons will be 25.
