Top Shelf Productions has announced the March release of a new League of Extraordinary Gentlemen graphic novel by Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neill: Nemo: The Roses of Berlin.
The 56-page, full color, hardcover graphic novel, co-published by Top Shelf and Knockabout, continues the adventures of Nemo’s daughter, Janni Dakkar, set 16 years after events in last year’s Nemo: Heart of Ice (see "New 'LOEG' Graphic Novel in February"), which took the #1 spot on Diamond’s graphic novel sales chart last February (see "Top 300 Graphic Novels Actual--February 2013") and stayed on the charts till June. MSRP is set at $14.95.
Set in 1941, Dakkar is forced to rescue loved ones held hostage in Berlin. With her companion Broad Arrow Jack, they face monsters, criminals and legends, including the remaining members of Germany’s notorious "Twilight Heroes."
There has been no news recently regarding progress on the LOEG television pilot ordered by Fox last year (see "Predictable Reactions Dept.: Alan Moore Rips 'LOEG' TV Series").
