Paramount has released a new trailer for its Michael Bay-helmed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle feature, and it’s much more satisfying than previous ones (see "More Turtles in 2nd Trailer").
More of the Turtles’ trademark humor is mixed in with the set exploding action, and several voice overs fill in some much-needed plot exposition. "We’re taking your armor to the next level," an unknown voice announces (1:14) before actor William Fichtner is seen in a rather menacing incarnation his Shredder persona.
And thankfully, right at the end (2:20), fans finally get resolution to that rumor that Bay had changed the origin of the Heroes in a Half Shell (see "Are the 'Turtles' Ninjas From Outer Space?").
