DC Comics announced Meredith Finch and her husband David Finch as the new creative team on Wonder Woman, beginning with issue #36 in November.
Meredith Finch (Grimm Fairy Tales presents Tales From Oz) will write, with her husband David Finch (Ultimate X-Men, Batman: The Dark Knight) providing art. The series will shift in focus to explore the character’s humanity and interpersonal relationships among the Amazons and the Justice League members.
With Gail Gadot signed to a three picture deal beginning with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (see "Warner Bros. Gives New 'Wonder Woman' 3-Picture Deal") and rumored placement of a 2017 Wonder Woman solo film on DC’s schedule (see "Warners' DC Film Schedule") the character seems destined to get a more attention as a comic character as well.
