Acme, a film featuring the Looney Tunes characters, is moving ahead with the X-Men: First Class writers signed to do a script, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz had also been signed to write a Power Rangers script (see "'Power Rangers' Script Gets 'X-Men' Treatment").
The film is being produced by Dan Lin and Roy Lee who were behind The Lego Movie. The directing team of Glenn Ficarra and John Requa are in early negotiations to direct the film.
The story for the CGI-live action hybrid centers around the manufacturer of whacky products used primarily by Wile E. Coyote.
