Valiant Entertainment’s new miniseries The Valiant will have several variant covers for Issue #1, drawn by Francesco Francavilla, by Paolo Rivera, and by writers Jeff Lemire & Matt Kindt.  The series launches on December 10th.

The four-issue miniseries was announced in July (see "'The Valiant' Miniseries") and is the first work Jeff Lemire has produced since the June end of his DC exclusive contract.  It is also the first interior comics work for artist Paolo Rivera since his Eisner-winning run on Daredevil in 2012.  The Jeff Lemire & Matt Kindt variant is an “interlocking” cover that will combine with successive variant issues to form a complete picture with the release of issue #4.  In addition to the Paolo Rivera Black & White Sketch Variant, a "blank" cover will also be available.
