The CW has released a new clip from the pilot episode of The Flash, which premieres next Tuesday, of how Barry Allen gets his powers.
 
The 1:10 clip is fairly similar to the origin sequence from last season’s Arrow subplot, which also had Barry struck by lightning.  The tagline for the clip: "The future of meta humans begins," also indicates the particle accelerator explosion /storm combination will likely be the genesis for most of the super villains/meta-humans that pop up in Central City  (see "Flash Confronts Weather Wizard in New Trailer").
 
The Flash premieres on the CW on Tuesday, October 7th at 8/7 central.
