WizKids has announced a new set for its popular Marvel Dice Masters game; Marvel Dice Masters: Avengers- Age of Ultron will release on May 6.  This new set will capitalize on the release of Marvel’s  Avengers:  The Age of Ultron movie, which hits theaters on May 1, 2015 (see "Concept Art Provides a Great Look at 'Age of Ultron's' Vision").  
 
The release will include characters that haven’t previously been seen in Marvel Dice Masters, such as Rocket Raccoon, Groot, Captain Marvel, Daredevil, and Kang, along with new versions of fan favorits such as Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Black Widow, and Thor. 
 
The Starters contain 44 custom dice, 38 cards, two dice bags and a complete rulebook at $19.99. The 90-Ct Gravity Feed will feature more than 30 new characters.  MSRP is $.99 a pack.
 
Marvel Dice Masters took the #6 spot on Top Collectible Games this Spring (see "Top Collectible Games--Spring 2014").  After a torrid start resulted in stock outages, WizKids scheduled additional shipments and added organized play (see "'Marvel Dice Masters' OP and Restock").
 
WizKids will soon add two franchises to the Dice Masters line:  DC Dice Masters (see "'DC Dice Masters Justice League Dice-Building Game'") and D&D Dice Masters (see "'D&D Dice Masters'”).
