After retailers and fans expressed disappointment with the variety of variant covers in Vault Comics' Big Rig Bundle Boxes, the company has announced it will send free Bonus Boxes to retailers who ordered the bundles through Lunar Distribution or Universal Distribution.   The Big Rig #1 Bonus Boxes will contain five copies of Post Malone’s Big Rig #1 (see “Vault Doubles Down on Music Tie-Ins”), each with a different variant cover, with rarities ranging from guaranteed through common, uncommon, rare, and very rare to unique.  Retailers do not need to place new orders for the boxes, which will be shipped via Lunar and Universal, and there will be no shipping charges.  The ship date has not been announced.

“Customers let us know they wanted more variety within these bundle boxes, and we heard them loud and clear,” said Vault Comics CEO, Damian Wassel in a statement accompanying the announcement.  “We’ve already improved the Bundle Boxes for Big Rig #2 and later issues, to make sure customers are getting the variety they’re after.  But we also wanted to give our customers the variety and thrill they were looking for on Big Rig #1.  So, we’re sending out these all new bonus boxes to retailers, for free, completely on us, to make sure our customers and fans get what they want.  All we ask is that retailers who had customers purchase the original Bundle Boxes make sure that those customers all get their hands on these new Bonus Boxes.”

The Big Rig #2 Bundle Boxes will include 10 variants of Big Rig #2 that are exclusive to the boxes, and each bundle will have at least 9 different variants from 15 possible options, by artists including Nathan Gooden, Jim Mahfood, Dan Panosian, Luana Vecchio, and Peach Momoko.  Variants may be guaranteed, common, uncommon, rare, very rare or unique, and there will be one unique One-of-One Peach Momoko variant.
