Mike Boze of HawgHead Comics was moved by a recent ad in Wizard and the History Channel comics program to send us this comment:

I just opened the latest Wizard and was greeted with a full-page ad.  Hey, comic book readers, go to Barnes & Noble, buy two CrossGen TPBs and get a free TPB.  Makes me wish I hadn't devoted so much effort to pushing CrossGen.  But then maybe I wouldn't have had the experience of having a customer come in and talk about how the 'Sigil' appears all the way through the CrossGen books.  How does she know this?  Oh, the local book store lets her read the TPBs for free!

Finally, was anyone else amazed that Kevin Smith spoke so glowing of how comic book shops were these 'dark and dingy' places where new customers were stared at as if unwanted guests to our little clubs in the History Channel special?
