DC Comics will release two TV-related Batman graphic novels on March 18th--Batman Adventures: Mad Love Deluxe Edition and the digital-first Batman ’66 Meets the Green Hornet.
Batman Adventures: Mad Love Deluxe Edition is a new hardcover edition of the Eisner and Harvey-winning one-shot comic written and drawn by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm. The story, set in the continuity of the Batman Animated Series show, won the 1994 Eisner and Harvey Award for "Best Single Story." The comic book origin of Harley Quinn detailed how she fell in love with the Joker, and her attempt to prove her love by killing Batman herself. Mad Love was released as a graphic novella in 1998, and the story was included in the 2009 collection Batman: Mad Love and Other Stories. This 96-page edition includes exclusive extras and bonus material. MSRP is $17.99.
Batman ’66 Meets The Green Hornet was written by Kevin Smith and Ralph Garman, with art by Ty Templeton, and cover by Alex Ross. The six-issue miniseries was co-published with Dynamite (see "'Batman '66 Meets the Green Hornet'"). The 144-page hardcover has an MSRP of $22.99.
