A bid by Marvel to have its Spider-Man contract dispute with Sony Entertainment heard by a jury rather than a private judge was rejected by a California Court of Appeals on Monday.  This decision upholds an earlier ruling by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Alexander Williams (see 'Judge Jolts Marvel').

Marvel may still take the case before the California Supreme Court; one of Marvel's attorneys, Christine Pagac, says that they are 'considering all of our options,' according to The Hollywood Reporter.
