Dreamwave Productions, the comic book publisher that made history as the first 'non-premier' publisher to top Diamond Comic Distributors' sales charts, is broadening its publishing horizons with the release of Drew Struzan: Oeuvre, a full color, 300-page hardcover, which includes a collection of the best works painted by the renowned American illustrator, who is famous for both his album covers and movie posters.  The large format (10' x 14') collection of Struzan art has a cover price of $59.95 and ships to retailers in November.  The book includes superb reproductions of Struzan's many memorable movie posters including the original Star Wars trilogy, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, The Phantom Menace, Bladerunner, The Thing, the Back to the Future trilogy, and Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone.

 

In addition to an overview of Struzan's career by authors Jessie and Amy Horsting, Drew Struzan: Oeuvre includes a foreward by George Lucas and commentaries from Harrison Ford, Frank Darabont, Alice Cooper, Robert Zemekis, and Jim Henson.  Dreamwave Production's first major art book release is also the first book dedicated to Struzan's art published in the U.S.
