Warren Ellis will write Ultimate Nightmare, a five-issue mini-series from Marvel launching in August.  Based on a story idea by Joe Quesada, the series will be illustrated by Trevor Hairsine. 

When what Ellis describes in his newsletter as a 'Weird Unknown Event' disrupting all world communications begins emanating from Siberia, two teams head there from the U.S. to investigate.  One is a group of X-Men, the other from the Ultimates, the U.S. superhuman defense initiative.
