Spider-Man 2, which is predicted to make a run at breaking the record for the biggest opening ever this week, is expected to appear as an Imax, large-format film in the coming weeks.  An agreement is expected soon.  This would be Sony's first feature-length live-action Imax movie. 

Spider-Man 2 will appear on HBO, Fox and FX after its theatrical release.  Columbia Pictures has already signed a television deal for roughly $50 million with Fox Broadcasting Co. and related cable station FX for a ten-year deal for Spider-Man 2.  HBO has the pay television rights.
