Variety is reporting that the production company Anonymous Content has acquired the motion picture rights to Tasty Bullet, 'a yet-to-be published' graphic novel by Jonathan Vankin, a writer and editor for DC/Vertigo Comics, and Arnold Pander, who has worked on Grendel, Exquisite Corpse, and Triple X.  The plot of Tasty Bullet revolves around the introduction of a popular soft drink, which has the unfortunate side effect of brainwashing anyone who drinks it.  The central role in the graphic novel is that of a female model, whose image is used to promote the drink, and who discovers the actual purpose of the beverage campaign.  Anonymous Content, which has produced a number of highbrow films such as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, sees Tasty Bullet 'as a real popcorn type of film,' a solid sci-fi action thriller with a strong female protagonist.
