According to the Hollywood Reporter, a new screenwriter has been hired to write the script for Criminal Macabre, the feature film based on Steve Niles' graphic novel (see 'MGM Picks Up Dark Horse Comic Series').  Bragi Schut, who wrote two as-yet-unreleased horror films, Last Voyage of the Demeter and Season of the Witch, will take 'an entirely new take' from the one Niles did in his first pass at the script.
