Teresa Moran of Acadiana Book & Comic Shop in Lafayette, Louisiana has previously supported a movie tie-in date for Free Comic Book Day (see 'Teresa Moran of Acadiana Book & Comic Shop on FCBD Date'), but now that she's seen Gail Burt's arguments (see 'Gail Burt of Metropolis Comics on Comic Movies'), she's switched sides:

Concerning the date for FCBD, I like to think that I'm not too proud to change my position when persuaded by people with good ideas.  I'm willing to take a chance and try the ideas presented about FCBD becoming a fixed, regular event, for the first weekend in May.  I've been very successful playing off the movies, but the lady that graciously refuted my case with a good argument, convinced me to vote for the early May date and make it a fixed event and not depend on the blockbuster movies to 'carry' us.  Go girl!  I'm with you.
