Mirimax will release Hero, starring Jet Li, on DVD in the U.S. on November 30th, according to Video Business' Scott Hettrick. The movie is still doing well in U.S. theaters, grossing $4.4 million last weekend (see 'Zombies Swarm Box Office'), but Miramax wants to pick up sales that would otherwise go to the Chinese version of the movie, which is already available in the States. The imminent release of the DVD means that there will be an uninterrupted stream of visibility for the property and its products, including the ComicsOne manga (see 'Hero Comes to ComicsOne').
