James A. Owen, who wrote and illustrated the Starchild graphic novel series back in the 1990s returns to comics with Obscuro, The Zen Illusionist, a new series that will be serialized (in six 8-page installments) in the revived Negative Burn series from Image Comics and Desperado Publishing. The Obscuro comic series is actually a prequel to a series of seven prose novels (four of which have already been published) Owen is writing for the German publisher, Festa Verlag and which appear under the series title 'Kai Meyer's Mythenwelt.'
