Image Comics has announced that Joe Casey (Superman, Avengers) and Tom Scioli (Freedom Force, Fantastic Four) are collaborating on Godland, a new cosmic adventure series debuting in June.  Godland, which will be Casey's first continuing series for Image, is a creator-owned cosmic property akin in scope to Jack Kirby's New Gods or Jim Starlin's Warlock.

Casey is promising that Godland will feature distinct issue-length stories, stating 'No writing for the trade.  No Part 1 of 6 nonsense.'
