WizKids has announced DC HeroClix: Icons, a new 60-figure base set for the DC HeroClix collectible miniatures game.  The new Icons set provides the perfect place for new players to jump into the DC HeroClix game because it includes iconic DC characters such as Superman and Batman and key superhero teams such as the JLA and the Teen Titans.  The series features all new sculpts and stats for these figures, which should provide a strong appeal to current DC HeroClix players as well as newcomers.

The DC HeroClix: Icons Starter Sets (msrp $12.99) contain everything two players need to get into the game, including two pre-constructed forces with six characters found only in the Starter Set, complete rules, tokens, a map and dice.  The DC HeroClix: Icons Booster Packs (msrp $3.99) each contain two randomly inserted figures.  The new base set contains a total of 60 figures, including the six characters in the Starter Set and six super-rare characters.
