John Munn of Comic Book, Ink in Tacoma, Washington said he saw more kids than ever before on Free Comic Book Day (see '2005 Free Comic Book Day in the Books') at his store:

 

Although our numbers were down from the last two years, the excitement for our third annual Free Comic Book Day wasn't!  Through setting up relationships with local libraries, we saw more kids this year than ever before!  We gave out the large bulk of our independent comics and, by over-ordering just a bit, had enough of the 'family friendly' titles and Batman HeroClix to give out to the kids for Halloween this year!  ith over five hundred visitors on Saturday, we can only call the day another great success for comic book lovers!'
