Devil's Due Publishing has announced that it will tear away the veil of mystery that has shrouded the origin of Snake Eyes, the most popular character in the G.I. Joe universe in a six-issue mini-series, Snake Eyes: Declassified, debuting in August with a $2.95 cover price. Written by Brandon Jerwa and illustrated by Emiliano Santalucia and Jeremy Roberts, Snake Eyes: Declassified looks at the man before his ninja and military training.
The announcement of the Snake Eyes mini-series is just the latest salvo in Devil's Due re-launch of its G.I. Joe comic line this summer, which also includes a number of retailer promotions (see 'Devil's Due Plans In-Store Events, Display Contest').
