The June 3rd issue of Entertainment Weekly has reviews of four comics in its book section, all with grades of B or above.  The A went to Elk's Run, an 8-issue miniseries from Hoarse and Buggy, by Joshua Hale Fialkov and Noel Tuazon.  Two issues of this coming of age story set in Elk's Run, West Virginia have been released to date.

The Little Lulu volumes from Dark Horse rated a B+, which seems low to us, but whatever.  Reviewer Ty Burr does describe the art as 'so clean it approaches the comic Zen of Nancy,' so at least he has good references.

The first issue of Desolation Jones from Wildstorm, by Warren Ellis and J.H. Williams III, also received a B+, called 'James Bond in Chinatown' by reviewer Jeff Jensen.

And Four-Letter Worlds from Image ranked a B, with Jeff Parker's story in this themed anthology trade paperback flagged as the standout.
