Rosen Publishing is planning at least two new graphic novel/non-fiction series for 2006 -- Graphic Mythology and Graphic Mysteries.  The Graphic Mythology series, which will premier in January 2006, is a series of six volumes featuring the myths of different cultures:  African, Chinese, Egyptian, Greek, MesoAmerican, and Roman.  The likely retail price is $9.95 for the trade paperback editions.

The six Graphic Mystery series will feature the Bermuda Triangle, Bigfoot and other Strange Creatures, Ghosts and Poltergeists, Loch Ness Monster, Lost Cities, and UFOs.  At this point, only $19.95 library hardcover editions are planned, although a trade paperback edition is not out of the question.

Rosen is also planning a six-volume Drawing Manga series by Peter Gray for 2006, also in hardcover school and library editions.  The series will include Animals, Female Action Figures, Heroes and Villains, Male Action Figrues, Monsters, and Robots.

Rosen is also considering a series of graphic non-fiction books on Civil War battles for 2006.

Rosen has published a series of graphic non-fiction biographies of historical figures (see 'Educational Publisher Readies Graphic Novel Biographies'), and a series of graphic non-fiction books on famous comic creators (see 'Rosen Announces Library of Graphic Novelists').
