TV Shows on DVD is reporting that Warner Bros. Home Video has announced the October 25th release of The Looney Tunes Golden Collection Vol. 3 (MSRP $64.92), a four-disk collection of classic cartoons from Termite Terrace.  The disks are packed in an attractive box adorned with the telling disclaimer: 'The Looney Tunes Golden Collection Vol. 3 is intended for the Adult Collector and may not be suitable for children.'  The box art, which features Bugs holding a sexy redhead should alert viewers to the influence of sublimely salacious cartoons (i.e. Red Hot Riding Hood) directed by Termite Terrace alum Tex Avery for MGM on some of these WB shorts.

 

The collection includes 60 cartoons, all of which have been re-mastered to pristine visual quality.  Disk 1 includes 15 Bugs Bunny classics, while Disk 2 features Hollywood-themed cartoons, and Disk 3 is devoted to Porky Pig.  The fourth disk features Daffy Duck, Pepe Le Pew, Speedy Gonzales, Bugs and the Roadrunner.

 

Extras include 9 documentaries, 32 commentary tracks, 11 rarely seen 'vintage
treasures' (some of which may not be 'politically correct' by today's standards) and 11 music only tracks.  Here is a list of the cartoons:
