Corgi USA has obtained the license from Marvel Entertainment, Inc., to produce limited edition die-cast figurines of popular Marvel characters.  Spider-Man, Captain America, Thor and Hulk figures are planned, along with other heroes and villains in the Marvel universe. 

The first releases will be unveiled at the American International Toy Fair in February, 2006. Designed to appeal to collectors, given the limited quantities produced, the metal figures will be at 1/12th scale (roughly six inches tall).
