Comicfix has announced that it will release a quarterly series of photo novels in the U.S. featuring the Italian fumetto Killing, which was known in France as Satanik and will be titled Sadistik here.  Each volume will be 176 pages of b/w photos at $14.95 retail.  This will be its first publication in English.

 

The series, originally released in the 60s in Italy and France, features a masked and costumed criminal who pursues his evil ends with his beautiful assistant Dana (portrayed by actress Luciana Paoli).  It was twisted enough to be banned in France after a year and a half, although there's no nudity or gore. 

 

The first volume in the series, Hell Waits!, is set in Los Angeles where Sadistik is trying to steal government plans before a local mob boss gets to them.  Each volume will also include illustrated articles about the series, characters, and actors.  The first volume covers actress Luciana Paoli. 
 
Note -- there's also an Italian character named Satanik, which should not be confused with the French name for this property
