According to the Superman Homepage, Warner Brothers Home Video is going to set the stage for the theatrical release of Superman Returns on June 29, with a trifecta of Superman-related TV on DVD series on June 20.  Seasons 3 & 4 of the 1950s Superman TV series, The Adventures of Superman, were only 13 episodes long and they were shot in color rather in black and white, so Warners is putting both seasons together (to match the size of the Season 1 and Season 2 collections).  Look for the final episodes (Season 5 and Season 6) of this classic series towards the end of 2006, quite possibly just before the release of Superman Returns on DVD.

The Third Season of Lois & Clark will also be released on June 20, and it features a host of great guest stars including Peter Boyle, Bruce Campbell, Brad Garrett, Emily Proctor, Jonathan Frakes, David Leisure, Shelley Long, Justine Bateman, and Roger Daltrey.

The third Superman-related series to debut on June 20 is the first season of the Superboy syndicated TV series (see 'Superboy Leaps to DVD').  Ilya Salkind produced both the Superboy TV series and the first series of big screen, big budget Superman movies, and Warners has announced that a mammoth 14-disk collection of the Superman films, which will the 'Holy Grail' of Superman movie fans, the Richard Donner cut of Superman II, will debut in November around the time that Superman Returns makes its way onto DVD.
