Harvey Pekar will tour in support of Ego & Hubris:  The Michael Malice Story, a hardcover graphic novel being released by Ballantine Books on April 11th.  The tour visits six cities, with two bookstore venues and four events in public buildings.  Retailers in the locales where events are being held, and where Ballantine is able to get press coverage for the title, will be able to capitalize on the publicity associated with the release.

Ego & Hubris collects Pekar's stories about Michael Malice, a real New Yorker who currently operates two popular Websites:  OverheardintheOffice.com and OverheardinNewYork.com.  The work is Pekar's second story collection about a person other than himself; the first was Unsung Hero, published by Dark Horse.
