The Transformers will star in an out-of-continuity storyline in an IDW miniseries that launches in June.  The new variant property from Hasbro Properties Group, Transformers: Evolutions, will put Transformers in a variety of historical eras.

In Transformers:  Evolutions:  Hearts of Steel, Transormers are in the steam era, where Decepticons are disguised as tanks, trains and walking engines, and John Henry discovers that a steam-drill is really an alien robot.

Creative chorse on the five-shot miniseries of 32-page, $2.99 color comics will be handled by Chuck Dixon and Guido Guidi.
