Score Entertainment has announced that it will release a new expansion for its Dragon Ball Z Trading Card Game, Revelation Edition, on July 13th.  This 260-card set will include 96 commons, 84 uncommons, 62 rares, and 11 promo cards for events, product promotions, and tournament kits.

DBZ Revelation will be packaged in 62-card Starter Packs ($11.99) and 10-card Booster Packs ($3.29).  Boosters will include six commons, three uncommons, and one rare in each pack, with a foil card in every third pack.

Two new mechanics will be introduced in the expansion.  The Charge! mechanic allows players to increase the damage of an attack after it's launched by discarding cards.  The Knockback! mechanic lets players prevent an opponent from attacking, allowing the player to attack over and over.

Organized play includes pre-release events, tournaments, and Premier Events.  Pre-Release Kits, for 20 players each, include 20 participation promo cards, four starter displays, six booster displays, one winner promo card, and an expansion poster.

Free 20-player tournament kits include 20 promo cards, one deck box, expansion poster, and one winner promo.  New promo cards will appear each month.

Score will host Premier Events, including national Championships at DieCon and the World Championships at GenCon Indy.
