Liberty Media has signed a binding term sheet to acquire IDT Entertainment.  The deal will allow Liberty to combine IDT with its Starz Entertainment Group, giving IDT a distribution arm, and Starz a source for content. 

IDT produces a variety of content important to pop culture retailers, including Simpsons and King of the Hill.  IDT also owns anime company Manga Entertainment (see 'IDT Acquires Manga Entertainment'), 5% of Archie Comics (see 'IDT Entertainment Acquires 5% of Archie Comics'), a share of Stan Lee's Pow Entertainment (see 'IDT Buys into Pow Entertainment'), and video distributor Anchor Bay Entertianment.
