Illektron, LLC, a California-based company involved in creating, manufacturing and marketing Battlez brand collectible card games and accessories (see 'Battlez Plans 2-Player Special Edition'), has filed a complaint and motion for preliminary injunction against Playmates Toys, Inc. alleging trademark infringement and unfair competition arising from Playmates marketing of its Battle Dice game.

Battlez is a character based collectible trading card game that encourages children to strive to be the best that they can be. 

The Battlez collectible card & dice game is targeted at boys from 6-14, while an advanced game play version is recommended for ages 10 and up.
