In an article entitled, 'A Green Light for Aqua?' LA Times writer John Horn reports that 'Aquaman, one of Hollywood's hottest inside jokes, might make the move from fiction to reality,' and that 'informal talks have been launched about the feasibility of making a real Warner Bros. Aquaman movie.'  In the popular HBO TV series Entourage, golden boy actor Vince Chase recently starred in a fictional Aquaman epic directed by James Cameron that broke Spider-Man's weekend box office record.  Ironically Ari Emmanuel the chutzpah-laden Endeavor agent, who supposedly is the model for Entourage agent, Ari Gold (played by Jeremy Piven in a tour de force performance), is, according to the Times, 'the talent agent at the center of the informal Aquaman talks' that could result in a 'real' Aquaman movie.

Meanwhile back on the small screen, the Aquaman TV pilot created for the now defunct WB Network by the producers behind Smallville and rejected by the WB's successor, the CW network (see 'Aquaman Deep-Sixed'), has quickly become one of the most popular downloads since it became available via Apple's iTunes Website last Tuesday.  On its first day on the site the 41-minute Aquaman pilot starring soap opera heartthrob Justin Hartley quickly rose to fifth place eclipsing a number of more famous iTunes offerings such as Friends, The Flintstones and Babylon 5.
