According to Anime on DVD ADV's David Williams has confirmed the acquisition of the 25-episode Air Gear anime series. Based on the manga series by Oh Great!, the creator of Tenjou Tenge, Air Gear is the saga of an ordinary 15-year-old who gets a pair of 'Air Treck' ultra-powered skates.
Like Tenjou Tenge, Air Gear includes plenty of fan service including some nudity that was covered up when the series was broadcast on Japanese TV. ADV's Williams told the audience at
Typical of the works of manga-ka Oh Great!, Air Gear is a sexy shonen series that features plenty of well-endowed female characters including the comely bespectacled Ringo and the drop dead gorgeous Mikan.
