Marvel Entertainment has announced a multi-year licensing agreement with PixFusion LLC, which will allow the video company to sell 'photo-personalized' DVDs. PixFusion sells the DVDs via its Website. For $39.95 parents can email a photo of their child whose face will be superimposed on an animated Spider-Man in a 30-minute animated DVD adventure entitled I Am the Amazing Spider-Man--just another indication of the increasing pervasiveness of comic book culture, a trend which will certainly continue to grow during the run-up to the release of the mega-popular wall-crawler's third cinematic epic in May.
