Fox Licensing has granted Oni Press a license to produce a comic book adaptation of Jumper, a science fiction film that is currently in production and is slated to debut in 2008.  Under the terms of the agreement Oni will produce a four-issue mini-series, which will also be collected in a trade paperback. 

Based on a novel by Stephen Gould, Jumper sports a screenplay by David Goyer (Blade, Batman Begins, Captain America).  Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity, Mr. & Mrs. Smith) is directing the saga of an abused youth who suddenly discovers that he can teleport from one place to another (a plot device that is reminiscent of Alfred Bester's The Stars My Destination).
