Work has begun on hiring the writer for Spider-Man 4, according to Variety. David Koepp, who wrote the first Spider-Man movie, is expected to write the fourth.
The third movie in the franchise is scheduled to open the first weekend in May. The fourth is expected in 2009 or 2010.
