Hidden City Games has announced the sell-out of its first series of Bella Sara cards as of late April. Earlier in April, Hidden City redirected value boxes and blister product of the Bella Sara First Series from mass retailers to hobby distributors to cover demand in that channel. A limited amount of blister product may be available from distributors.
The Bella Sara First Series product will not be reprinted; 2nd Series shipped in early March and is still available from distributors.
National TV advertising appears to be getting the word out ( see ''Bella Sara' TV Supporting Sales') to its target audience. Pat Fuge of Gnome Games in Green Bay, Wisconsin said, 'With Bella Sara, I am seeing serious repeat business from girls 8-12 years old.' Colleen Nelson of Goody Gum Drops in Burien, Washington also says Bella Sara is doing great at her store, 'We actually had a customer show it to us and tell us that we needed to carry it. It has been a great product for us and has a great appeal for young girls. We've sold cases and cases of it.' And Tony Lakas of The Danger Room in Anderson, Indiana said, 'Bella Sara is the easiest money I've seen all year.'
Bella Sara has been well-received by the toy industry critics, appearing on two best product lists--Dr. Toy's Best Products -- Spring 2007 and iParenting Media's '2007 Excellent Product' awards.
