Wendy Riddle of Play in Johnson City and Elizabethton, Tennessee just found out the news about the WizKids exclusive deal with Diamond/Alliance (see, most recently, 'Hauck on WizKids Exclusivity'), and strongly disagrees with the choice:

My name is Wendy Riddle, and we own four videogame/hobby stores in eastern Tennessee.  I called Southern Hobby this morning to pre-order HaloClix and found out that WizKids went exclusive with Diamond/Alliance.  Unfortunately I will not be ordering this really cool product.  I have an account with Alliance, but I strongly disagree with this choice.  This is how it started with comic books, and now Diamond has them all.  I will not support this.  I don't believe in set pricing, and everyone gets the same deal.  I use Alliance on occasion but prefer to order product from other small distributors too.
