Comic Images has announced that it will cease publication of the Raw Deal TCG as of December 31, 2007.  According to the announcement, this was a mutual decision by WWE and Comic Images, and was based on declining interest in Raw Deal. 

Comic Images has been publishing Raw Deal for over seven years.  While it didn't sell in all stores (depending on the clientele), for a significant subset of hobby stores it was a steady, predictable seller for much of that time.   That type of longevity is extremely rare in the TCG business, where new games can come and go in a year or two.  In its announcement, Comic Images thanked WWE, its retailers and distributors, devlopers, playtesters, and players that made it such a success for that long period.
