At the Nuremburg Toy Fair the Italian game company Nexus Editrice announced three new miniatures games that will debut in the second half of 2008. The announcement that has the most potential in the American market was that of a Conan the Barbarian miniatures game that will feature pre-painted, highly-detailed 35 mm figures that will allow players to engage in 3D wargaming in the barbaric Hyborian World. New figures following the chronology of Conan's life and adventures will be available in additional miniature packs including all the most famous characters, warriors and monsters created by Robert E. Howard in his Conan stories.
Nexus is also preparing two other new miniature games including Wings of War Miniatures World War II, a 3D game of aerial combat featuring 1/196 scale pre-assembled, pre-painted planes. The first release will concentrate on planes from the early years of the war including Spitfires, Messerschmitts, Zeroes and Grumman F4Fs.

This summer Fantasy Flight Games is releasing Nexus Editrice's The Age of Conan: Strategy Board Game (see 'Age of Conan Due Early Summer'), though when contacted by ICv2 a spokesman for FFG said that the company had not yet made any announcement about any of the games that Nexus was showing at the Nuremburg Toy Fair.
